The Ultramontane Catholic Church as it is today under pope Francis did not exist until 1870 or later. Old ultrajectine Catholics do not accept Vatican 1 because it is a new teaching and not a newly discovered understanding of an old original teaching dating back to the early deposit of faith of the "Church" before 1870
